Rodney Alcala, a convicted serial killer known for his 1978 appearance on the TV show The Dating Game, has died of natural causes, California prison officials said Saturday.
The bachelorette was Cheryl Bradshaw, and though he won her over while they were on camera, she never actually went out with him.
He died of natural causes at a hospital in San Joaquin Valley, California, prison officials said in a statement.
He called the mother of Robin Samsoe to the stand trying to make her look bad to the jurors.
